Badminton Wycombe hosted our Second Annual Singles Tournament with 27 of Wycombe’s top singles players entering with high hopes of scores to settle and some competitive matches - the day did not disappoint!

Daryl won in three close sets 21 -18, 17-21, 21-18 thus ensuring Daryl retained his bragging rights for another 12 months!

- Top seed Daryl Jacobs secured a first round win over Para-badminton specialist Sean O’Sullivan 21-11, 21-11. O’Sullivan had earlier overcome Simon Mitchell 21-5, 21-12
- In a draw containing both Men and Ladies, Freya Patel was able to defeat Liam Chan 21-7, 21-6
- Ethan Rose defeated Nick Cartwright 21-8, 21-11
- Abigail Holden defeated Jason Quarry 21-11, 21-16
