Surrey Smashers, our local National Badminton League (NBL) team beat MK Badminton last night in a convincing 4-1 win.  Only the Men's Doubles was dropped after a fierce contest 6-9 / 9-5 / 6-9 / 9-8 / 5-4.

This places them at the top of the league on 4 points - one point is awarded for each win across the disciplines: Men's Singles, Ladies Singles, Men's Doubles, Ladies Doubles, Mixed Doubles.

1. Surrey Smashers - 4 pts
2. Birmingham Lions - 3 pts
3. Team Derby - 2 pts
